Sony Xperia Z Review and Specifications

Dimension & display

As per the current demand of the users this Xperia Z smartphone is also quite big in size, with the dimensions of 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm and weighs 146 gm. As it is relatively less thicker and very edgy, the phone is very comfortable to hold, comparing with Samsung Galaxy Grand which is also just released in the market but it is quite bulky. It has a glass panel at the front and the back with superb finishing which undoubtedly enhances its look .The glass is not the gorilla glass but similar to it with decent strength and crack resistant feature. The power button is on the side and round in shape which is very user friendly. The slot for the SIM card, Memory card and the 3.5 mm audio jack are all covered to provide Water Resistant (upto 1 mtr and 3o mins) and Dust Resistant feature to it. Talking about the display, it has 5 inch of multi-touch Capacitive touch TFT screen which is scratch resistant. Comes with a superb resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Memory and Camera Features This phone features a very good internal memory of 16 GB and has 2 GB of RAM (decent enough) which we want it to be high to run the applications without any hindrance. It has a microSD card slot which makes it expandable upto 32GB.

Camera Review

Sony Xperia Z comes up with dual camera. The rear camera is whopping 13.1 MP with 4128 x 3096 pixels. It has features like autofocus, LED Flash, face-detection, Geo-tagging ,image stabilizer. One excellent feature which I like most about its camera is HDR(High Dynamic Range),which broadens the range for taking pictures and also captures more details in the dark area, this I think the best camera quality. The front camera is 2.2 MP, essential for video calling. The Video quality is nice with 1080p@30 frames. While recording, the features like continuous autofocus, video stabilizer and HDR increase the video quality. Infact the web streaming of the video is also very excellent with reduced noise.
