There has been a lot of hype regarding the new Nokia Lumia 710 both Microsoft and Nokia have seen to that. This is the first phone under the new Nokia-Microsoft smartphone partnership. This partnership sees Microsoft latest Windows phone 7.5 (Mango) operating system replacing Nokia previous operating system.
Lumia 710 supports MicroSim only, it has SNS integration and Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. It supports MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA and MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV formats. It can also be worked as Document viewer/editor and a Video/photo editor. It has Voice memo/command/dial. It has a 3.5 mm jack.
By physical appearance the device is nearly identical to Nokia’s existing N9 which was also a good device. But that also means that this design is hardly new and exciting. Lumia 800 feels nicely cool and weighty in the hand. It is made from a hard polycarbonate shell that feels similar to a lightly brushed magnesium case. It’s quite tough and scratch proof.
It has Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. It provides SNS integration by which you can socially connect to your friends with the use of Orkut, Twitter, Facebook etc. Lumia provides pocket office which involves word excel. It also runs several web applications like Youtube, Gmail and its CPU is of 1.4 GHz Scorpion.
Display and Camera
It provides a 5 MP with a resolution of 2592х1944 pixels, Autofocus and LED flash. It’s has a TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors , it’s size is of 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches.
New Nokia Lumia is integrated with Wifi 802.11 b/g/n. It also supports Bluetooth which has version 2.1. It provides USB connectivity with MicroUSB version 2.0.
Memory & Battery Life
Nokia Lumia comes with internal memory of 8 GB storage and 512 MB Ram, it dosen’t provide a card slot. Lumia has a Standard battery, Li-Ion 1300 mAh (BP-3L) and its standby time is upto 396 hours and talk time upto 7 hours.
Price & Release Date
Nokia Lumia 710 price is set at Rs 20,000 and $377 in USA and set its release date in December 2011.
